Baked products are cooked through convection, frequently ovens are utilized but improvised oven made with hot stones are of times used.

In Baking history, bread was the first produced result and one of the oldest prepared foods. Long ago, when primeval baking was believed to happen, ancient people made a mixture of wild grass grains soaked in water. Combined the two ingredients together that turned into paste then the mixture was then poured onto hot rocks resulting to the first baked bread. Time advanced, so did Baking in terms of equipments used and products baked to meet the needs of human consumers.

Apart from its nutritional value, bread in addition is regarded historically and contemporarily in the West and Middle East cultures. As an example, "The Lord's Prayer" has the term 'bread' in "Give us today our daily bread" that implies essential needs. In the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, bread is an important representation of the Body and Blood of Christ .

Bread is a common commodity in the majority of societies . And of the numerous delectable foodstuffs produced by baking, t is the most famous and most commonly consumed everywhere. The distinctive pungent flavor and tecture of bread makes it incomparable to it substitute of rice or root crops. Some ethnicity choose bread more than other foods. Bread is primarily made with flour, cultivated with yeast to volumize then cooked in an oven. Bread is alo made up of salt and water. For extra taste and essence, other ingredients are added to bread such as milk, sugar, cinnamon, eggs and other dairy products.

In order to produce perfect bread, the amount of flour and water are to be precisely measured. In baking, Weight measured ingredients are used over volume quantified ones, for the reason that weight projrcts more accuracy than volume particularly for dry ingredients.

Flour, a powdery produce made from grounded grains, at all times 100 percent and the rest of the ingredients are a percent of that amount in weight.Flour is what provides the primary structure of bread. It provides starch and protein to the baked bread. For every 500 grams of flour, a standard bread loaf or two French loaves are yielded.

Water, at times alternated by milk, fruit extract or beer, Is mixed with flour to come up with a paste or dough. Each recipe requires different amounts of liquid but generally for yeast bread, one cup of liquid per 3 cups of flour is used.

Additional components like sweeteners, fats and leavening products can also be used in baking breads. Leavening is a procedure done in baking to add air to the dough which results to a more chewable bread. In a manner of speaking, unleavened breads also play an important role for Jews during Passover and for Christians during their commemoration of the Eucharist. Leavening is achieved through chemical leavening, yeast leavening, bacterial leavening or steam leavening.

Wanting to try some new healthy foods, suggestions?
I'm going to a big ethnic grocery store tomorrow where the sell tons of fresh fruits, veggies, different sorts of grains/beans/nuts, and your traditional dairy/frozen/canned/and grocery foods. I was wondering what are some healthy foods that you guys love that would recommend me trying? Foods that I DON'T like are: all melons, citrus fruits, potatoes, squash, mango, papaya, pasta, bakery foods (breads, cakes, muffins), beef, pork, rice, canned/frozen foods, typical breakfast foods (pancakes, waffles, bacon), milk, junk food, soda/juice. Foods that I DO already like include: most fruits and veggies (with the exception of the ones noted above), nuts/nut butters, sprouted grain bread, quinoa, almond milk, greek yogurt/plain yogurt/kefir, farmers cheese/white cheese, beans, chicken/turkey breast, salmon, hummus, salsa, tea/water. Thanks!

Healthy diet with these specific foods?
A couple of months ago I was very trim and healthy, but with my new job I have little time or money and seem to be putting on weight! I'm 25, 5"11 and relatively active at work. Using these foods (they're available to eat at work), what would be an example of a healthy day of food? Breads (brown, white, bagels, crumpets, muffins. Pretty much any kind of bread) Any jam, peanut butter, marmite etc. Most fruits (apples, oranges, grapes, bananas etc) Crisps Any breakfast cereal Milk Any biscuits I can buy bits and bobs to add to this, but it's obviously cheaper to use what's available to me! Any diet expert advice would be welcome.

Do any diabetics out there really maintain consistently normal blood sugars?
Do any of you really eat just the right amount of carbs, even though you may still be hungry? Do you sneak an extra handful of grapes? Are you able, just by virtue of having this disease, to not eat when you're truly, truly TRULY hungry, just because your doctor tells you not to? I mean, can anyone live like this? I have been diabetic for 16 years last month, and I have failed to consistently live like this. I HATE being told what I can't have, can't do, shouldn't do, better not do. I'm human, I get hungry, sue me. Call Geoffrey Fieger. I can stay away from cookies, muffins, bagels, bakery products, ok. That's easy. But normal food, bread, rice, sandwiches, fruits, are you kidding me? I cannot live like this. I am sick of feeling guilty when I eat. GOD FORBID. And I'm a type 1. I have always been thin. I did nothing to cause this. My last A1c was 8.3, and I actually felt guilty and apologized to my doctor. He told me I should be able to eat a yogurt for breakfast and be satisfied for hours. Uhhhhh yeah......whatever you say.....Yogurt is gross. Anything creamy and white that you spoon into your mouth from a round cardboard box is gross. I hate yogurt like I hate...........................oh, let's see..........................Hitler.

How to convince my parents that I'm not dieting but eating healthy ?
Hi,I used to be overweight (weighed about 160 lbs) when I was 14 my height is 5,10. I started dieting when I was 14 and a half years old because everybody at school bullied me, called me names, and obviously wanted a girlfriend . Now after dieting and fortunately reaching my goal I weigh 140 lbs with the same height. I started taking care and maintainig my weight by not eating high calorie foods, bread and fast foods. Currently I eat a lot of vegetables and fruit but my parents still think I'm dieting and tell me to stop or theyll send me to the psychologist but I'm happy the way I eat. Also my both parents are overweight and I try telling them that what they eat is unhealthy but they ignore me and since I eat a lot of fruit they think I ONLY EAT THAT ! , but I always prepare myself healthy meals according to the specific portion size which include many lean cuts of protein and vegetables. But my parents think I should eat more because they think I'm eating like a girl!.Also I work out daily and keep myself active.I eat about 2000 calories a day. So please I need to know how to convince my parents I'm not dieting any more but eating healthy.
