Storage question for raw food bread - Should I store it in the fridge or pantry? (Answers: 4) (Comments: 0)
I recently bought a vacuum sealer and vacuum sealed portions of this raw food bread. I made the bread in a dehydrator, starting Friday night and finishing Saturday morning. The recipe is: carrot pulp, flax powder, chia powder, olive oil (small amount), sesame seeds, water and spics. The "bread" is a bit like a cracker biscuit that is soft. I vacuum wrapped it just a few moments ago (Monday evening Australian time). Should I store it in the fridge or pantry? How long will it last? The guidebook says cookiers/crackers last 1 - 2 weeks normally in the pantry and 3 to 6 weeks in the pantry when vacuum sealed so I'm assuming this is the case but not sure. Thanks

When using a food dehydrator, can you replace teflex paper with wax paper? (Answers: 3) (Comments: 0)
A friend gave me her dehydrator, but she doesn't have the owner's manual. I was looking at a bread recipe which requires dehydrating instead of baking - it's a raw food bread recipe. The recipe calls for the use of teflex paper in the dehydrator. I don't have any and was hoping to use wax paper instead.
