Need help with wording New years eve invitations?

I'm planning a new years party and i'm not sure how to tell all my friends that they need to bring their own alcohol and some appetizer/food.
I just need help how to word it for the invitation.

    If you can afford it, come up with a small prize for an appetizer contest. It doesn't have to be much. Maybe a cheap bottle of Asti Spumante. Then ask everyone to bring an appetizer and their own beverage.

    Let's celebrate the New Year together!

    Times are rough, but let's do our best to welcome in 2009 at my place on New Year's Eve.

    Bring your own cooler filled with whatever you will be drinking and your favorite snack for New Year's Eve. We'll all vote on them and the best one wins a prize! Can't cook? Then brings eats to share.

    Consider having a couple dozen eggs and a loaf of bread on hand to serve up breakfast the next morning.
