I have a bit of a cooking dilemna. I've been a veggie for nine months, but my husband LOVES meat. Help!?
I want to cook for him, but I get disgusted of the smell of raw chicken, meat and pork. I also don't want to touch or cut it because I'm completely disgusted. What can I do?
It makes it harder to know he's not a salad person either. He's not crazy about vegetables. The only thing I can think of is stir-fried veggies with tofu and tofu skewers, but how tiring can that be? He's also not really into Meditteranean food or hummus, so these factors also make it hard.
Please help!

How can I make my own food?
Here's my story. I'm Chaldean, and my mom makes a variety of foods, including American and other countries. However, sometimes I really don't like what she makes, and my parents get mad when I don't eat my food. I like CHICKEN Shawarma, it's my favorite, not beef. I like yellow and red rice with chicken, but I don't like anything with stew (mureg/murgeh in Arabic) unless I dip thick bread in it (Khobos). I like Onion Dolma, but not Grape Leaf. And so on, you get it. I love most American foods, but my mom thinks only Middle Eastern/Meditteranean foods are good for you. I want to show her that I can make my own food equally healthy. Also, my parents complain about how thin I am, and they don't believe it's because I'm exomorphic, which I am, and I know they both were when they were young, from pictures. I know someday I will like all food, my family was the same way, but all parents don't even think about how their parents punished them for these things, so they get mad at me for not eating this food, and don't try getting me into liking my culture's food, it won't work on em yet. Someone tell me what I can do, whether I'm cooking or making my own food. GOOD websites only, and appreciated. If you are asking me something in your answer, please wait for Additional Details, and then please edit your answer, I don't like when people don't come back to the question to edit their answer after additional details are placed. Thank you! And no disrespect to Chaldeans, I'm proud of being Chaldean, and I like SOME of these foods. Please note I am a guy who will be 15 in June.
By the way, I don't fast, so don't worry about limits to what I am allowed to eat, and don't worry, I love my parents.
