Fine Dining In Dubai

Thanks to the surge in tourism to Dubai and the United Arab Emirates in general, Dubai is now home to numerous high quality fine dining restaurants.

On a trip to Dubai, there are more than 450 restaurants to choose from, a number that is growing ever day. And with cuisines represented from right across the globe, Dubai is quite literally becoming a melting pot of cuisines.

In recent years Dubai has attracted a score of top international celebrity chefs including Gordon Ramsay, Viktor Stampfer and John Wood, all of whom work at top international hotels in Dubai.

Of course, if this is your first time in the United Arab Emirates, then there is no excuse for not trying some of the fine Arabian and Persian cuisine on offer. A number of leading, fine dining Arabian and Persian restaurants exist in Dubai with some of the most popular being Automatic, Shahrzad, The Persian Garden and Layali Lubnan.

Dubai also host a number of other international restaurants catering for various exotic tastes including Moroccan, Thai, Japanese - whatever you fancy, you are sure to find it on offer in Dubai.

Thanks to its coastal location, Dubai is also home to some of the most popular seafood restaurants in the United Arab Emirates. These include The Aquarium and The Fish Market, both of which have gained international prestige for their high quality of cooking.

In a city like Dubai, fine dining is not limited simply to the evenings. Brunch is particularly popular in Dubai, both with the business and leisure tourists. A typical Dubai-style brunch can last several hours, often spilling into the early hours of the evening. Competition between the various hotels and brunch restaurants is fierce given its unique popularity in the city so be sure to look out for special deals and promotions.

Some of the most common promotions - particularly at some of the various Dubai 5 star hotels - include free use of the hotel's facilities during the day, allowing you to spend a complete day enjoying the lavish breakfasts while tanning yourself by the hotel pool.

While brunch may conjure up images of omelets and tea, in Dubai brunch usually means champagne, luxury meats and an a la carte menu.

For those that enjoy a drink with dinner, it's important to remember that drinking is not an Arabic custom. Even though all of the hotel restaurants and bars serve alcohol, it's important to bear this in mind should you ever decide to wander a little off the beaten track.

It it true about Indian/Arab/Persian restaurants ? (Answers: 13) (Comments: 0)
that they give smaller portions, because the food is heavier in spice than most Western food, and people over here arent used to the spices. Theres an indian and an arab restaurant in town, and they both give you smaller portions of food. Thats just what I heard.
